     Science is almost daily finding new activities and approaches that appear to help our brains stay healthy. Not all of them require activity; this post looks at the importance of silence. We live in a hectic, noise-laden, constantly moving world. Most of us  have experienced the peace that comes from getting away from all the noise, leaving behind even the human voice for a short time.
