I love this group of young people! Several months ago I introduced the Recycled Orchestra to readers of this blog. It is the inspiring story of the young people from the Cateura slum near the capitol of Paraguay who, against all odds, have made their own instruments from trash and formed an orchestra. Now there is a documentary about their success and today’s post is an introduction to Deceptive Cadence, with an overview of the group and a brief trailer from the documentary.

Read…Listen and View…Reflect…Share!

“Young musicians from a Paraguayan slum have toured the world with instruments made of garbage. They’ve played with Stevie Wonder and for the Pope. Now they’re in a documentary.”
