Maria Popova, whose Brain Pickings is one of my favorite resources for this blog, has been sharing some true gems over the last ten days. Today’s post is an essay grounded in Wendy Lesser’s book Room for Doubt, parts of which are musings on the power of music to go beyond and around our grieving spirits. I found it particularly meaningful since I have been playing Beethoven’s symphonies over and over, without conscious thought, letting them seep into my very bones. Thank you, Maria.
