Little Free Library, A “Beacon of Hope” in Troubled Times:
Brought to You by My Curated Information Blog, Create & Be Well
In our communities is our hope; the passion and creativity to make lives better comes from within the people, one project at a time. The Little Free Library foundation has reached a new milestone, with 50,000 small free libraries across the world. And the work expands–there are many examples of the tiny free library outside of this group. The lesson this teaches, a critical one for our time, is that true transformation and change in our communities comes from within, one project at a time becoming a critical mass of hope and achievement. The Little Free Library is one of the Beacons of Hope I am featuring in the first resource guide for my Living Through Creativity series.
“Little Free Library, a nonprofit with a passion for literacy and community, has placed its 50,000th Little Library at a homeless shelter in California.”
