The world is interdisciplinary. I have a strong belief, bolstered by my research and reading, that the most interesting and important challenges of our time emerge at the intersection of the arts and science. Less than an hour from where I live is the Rhode Island School of Design, an extraordinary institution, where the Nature Lab offers the opportunity for students to explore the intersection of these two worlds. What challenge are you facing that would benefit from viewing it through the art/science lens?

The images on this post are part of my own exploration into this relationship by photographing and digitally coloring flowing waters.
