The Stanford Social Innovation Review is a wonderful source of information, resources, and case studies about social entrepreneurship and innovation across the world. This case study of nonprofits in India that have successfully scaled up their operations has many lessons for all of us. Just as I think one of my favorite nonprofits in India, Barefoot College, is a model we should take to heart, I believe that the success of organizations in poorer nations has much to teach us. The featured images are all from Tara Books, a creative publisher of children’s books in India.
