          This is a great article with a single flaw–it should be aimed at individual states, not the US as a whole. It is a not so simple matter of scale. Scandinavian countries are small and geographically self-contained. The US is too large, diverse, and spread out to learn as a “country.” However, and this is important, individual states can take the lessons of “Viking Economics” and thrive. Some already are.
