***Transforming Education Series: New Visions for Museums***
Brought to You by My Curated Information Blog, Create & Be Well
Museums are growing in many new directions: some are offering programs for people with disabilities, including dementia; others are working with young people across the spectrum of K-12 education. The Institute for Museum and Library Services, a federal organization, published an evaluation of an important in-depth program for teens at three art museums, Room to Rise: Lasting Impact of Intensive Teen Programs in Art Museums. These are among the things we would be losing if the NEA and NEH are destroyed. Thanks to the New York Times and the Nonprofit Quarterly for the story.
