***Arts and Health Series: Dance and Disabilities***
Brought to You by My Curated Information Blog, Create & Be Well
One of the most interesting developments emerging from my research for Shaping Lives, Transforming Communities: Creative Expression in the Dance of Life is the opening up of the performing arts to those with disabilities and the use of dance in many therapeutic situations. Today’s post is the inspiring story of Jerron Herman, who has cerebral palsy, and his performances in the Gimp Project, a New York City dance troupe of people with disabilities. Thanks to Carey Dunne and Be Yourself for the story.
