            Barefoot College. founded in India over 40 years ago, has emerged as an international force in rural development. Through partnerships with the government of India, the United Nations and others, it is spurring education and training for poor, often illiterate, women in bringing solar power to their villages. Today’s post comes from the University of Michigan, which is featuring Barefoot College in its May publications.
