          Sometimes I just want to sigh and shake my head because we still don’t get it–kids should be learning through play at least until the age of 8. I believe they should learn from play all their lives–but that is for a book. This report from the Washington Post on a new study from the National Bureau of Economic Research adds to our already strong knowledge that we should not continue to redefine kindergarten as first grade.
