          One of the important developments in arts therapy has been the emergence of dance as an important part of treatment for diseases such as Parkinson’s and for older people’s ability to strengthen their balance and avoid falls. Today’s post is a report from the Sheridan Centre for Elder Research in Canada on programs in dance offered for elders with mobility and other medical problems. Dance can be an important part of healthy aging!
