New programs for people with disabilities and opportunities for both active elders and those with dementia are only a few of them. The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts includes the opportunity for an organization to propose a “made to measure” project to suit its needs.  It has also developed an art therapy initiative that other institutions might examine and adapt for their own needs.

Both our personal and professional growth, our contributions to the world around us, depend on our understanding and internalizing the concept of  “critical mass.” This is a rather long read but repays coming back it at least several times a year. What are the current “tipping points” or “critical masses” in your life?

We don’t often see the words “farm” and “ballet” together in the same sentences. One of my favorite new projects in Vermont is called “Farm to Ballet” and shows us just how important and creative new ways of bringing dance to communities can be. Enjoy this story of this year’s programs at Shelburne Farms from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
