     Architecture has the power to inspire us. Sometimes we miss great beauty because we do not look up. In this post, the BBC Culture series offers us images of some of the most beautiful ceilings in the world. As many religions and cultures celebrate spring and the rebirth of people and nature, looking up can fill fill us with wonder and gratitude for all creation.

     The images on today’s post, fittingly enough, are of colorful and imaginative stairways, passages we take from one level to a higher one. They come courtesy of one of my favorite resources, design-dautore magazine.
