Treepedia is a partnership between MIT’s Senseable City Lab and WEF’s project on the future of cities  to map the condition of trees in urban areas across the world. This is an important collaboration to help cities understand and plan for the future. Thanks to The Guardian for this report.

          You may not share my fascination with Mongolia–after all Kublai Khan was a native of Mongolia–but you must read this amazing report on changes there in The Guardian. The design and presentation of the this extensive essay on change in Mongolia is simply wonderful. Enjoy it as a new peak of excellence in digital reporting. And by the way, the story has interesting implications for all of us.

          I have paired the story with images on this blog from Brian Andreas and his story people. They seem to me to reach to that same high quality and uniqueness as The Guardian report!
