          Using the arts in prison settings for rehabilitation is  a positive and growing phenomenon in our dysfunctional systems. I have posted before about Shakespeare in New York prisons. Today’s post shares the story about a Michigan-based organization, Shakespeare Behind Bars, that also has some interesting links to Kentucky Shakespeare. It grew out of the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, is now independent, and continues to work in both Kentucky and Michigan. Explore the full website and understand the wonderful work they are doing.
